So, "life improvement." There are three steps to a life improvement or any change.
And well, I assume if you are up to make a change in your life, it should be something that brings you improvement.
So it's straightforward. It's like Ready - Set - Go!
STEP ONE: get clear on what you want. Something that is not satisfactory right now for you has its opposite of what you want.
It's essential that you focus on what it is that you want and number one, you need to define it. And you know, the method I am teaching is asking yourself where do you want to be in five years?
Create a picture that consists of your physical well-being, of your ideal career in five years, the relationships you would like to have in five years and your financial situation in those four areas.
And then say okay, this is what I want in five years.
Now, turn it down to 12 months. Where do you want to be then in 12 months to be in five years where you just decided to be. So you do the same thing for 12 months. Where do you want to be 12 months from today? How should your life look like in 12 months so you will be satisfied with it? And again, in those four areas like your physical well-being, your career, your relationships and your finances. So this is that step one, clarity. Define what you want by when.
STEP TWO: you map out the pathway from today to in 12 months. So you have 12 months, and then you ask yourself and answer this question to yourself. "What needs to happen that I can move from where I am today to where I want to be in 12 months?" And these are your mileposts. And it's not about something like "okay I need to win the lottery." No, it's about what YOU can do. And you can learn anything. You can get the information you need.
Expand please on your potential and possibilities. Stretch! You need to stretch a little bit to move your life a little bit further and be more satisfied than you are today. So the first step was clarity, define what you want, and point it down or pin it down to 12 months, where you want to be in 12 months from now. The second step is basically to map out from where you are today to where you want to be in 12 months and what mileposts you need to pass or complete to get there. So this is step number two.
THE THIRD STEP is straightforward.
When you look at this 12-month frame, where you placed your mileposts, you say okay, what do I need to complete first? And you are ready. Now, of course, comes ACTION.
